Fossil Hunting in Skinningrove this May Half-Term, Thursday 28 May

28th May 2026 - 28th May 2026

Come and search for fossils with us this May half-term on the Skinningrove coastline.

We’ll head down to the beach with our volunteers to look for fossils and other interesting finds along the shore. The coastline here was once home to millions of prehistoric creatures, far beneath a tropical sea, and you may even spot a nodule of ironstone if you’re lucky.

It’s a great hands-on activity for curious children, young explorers and families who enjoy searching, discovering and learning more about the coast beneath their feet.
