May Half-Term: Salt Art Workshop at Land of Iron, Wednesday 27 May
27th May 2026 - 27th May 2026
Get creative with us this May half term at Land of Iron.
In this hands-on workshop, children and families can discover the magic of using salt as a medium for art. Using PVA glue, salt and watercolour paint, you’ll create your own artwork inspired by the local landscape and Loftus’ ancient history.
You’ll also have the chance to visit our temporary exhibition and see real pieces of Neolithic rock art found locally, helping to inspire your own design.
It’s a fun, creative half-term activity for curious children, young makers and families who enjoy getting hands-on.
