Summer Fossil Hunting in Skinningrove with Land of Iron
5th August 2026 - 28th August 2026
Join us at Land of Iron for a summer fossil hunting adventure on the Skinningrove coastline.
Walk down onto a beach that was once home to millions of prehistoric creatures, far beneath a tropical sea. Comb the beach with our staff and volunteers to find fossils, or even a nodule of ironstone if you’re lucky.
This activity takes place on selected dates in August 2026.
Please note that, in order to make the most of the low tide, not all sessions are set at the same time. Please check the date and time carefully when booking your ticket.
