A packed summer of events at Land of Iron

Summer is well underway at Land of Iron, with a varied programme inviting people of all ages to explore our local heritage, coastline, creativity and communities.

Visitors have already joined us for rock pooling and fossil hunting, while Mine on the Move has taken our region’s mining stories beyond the museum and out into the community.

But don’t worry if you have missed anything so far—there are still plenty of activities, workshops and special events to enjoy throughout August.
